Women leadership holds the key to humanity’s future in the age of AI
16 Jan 2025
The AI revolution is both diabolical and divine; embracing the female archetype and a deeper reality can steer us away from extinction toward a harmonious future, says Deepak Chopra
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, November 26, 2024: Dr. Deepak Chopra, globally renowned author and pioneer in integrative medicine, addressed the Global Women’s Forum Dubai 2024 today with a stirring call to action. He highlighted the critical role of women in navigating humanity through the challenges of the AI era and ensuring survival in an increasingly fragmented world.
“Humanity is at a crossroads,” Chopra said. “We face existential threats—climate change, cyber warfare, gender inequality, chronic disease, and a global absence of joy. The activation of the divine feminine is not optional; it is essential for our survival.”
Women empowerment in the AI era
Chopra traced humanity’s evolutionary milestones, from the cognitive revolution 40,000 years ago to the agricultural, scientific, and information revolutions. He underscored the current era of artificial intelligence (AI) as one of unprecedented transformations.
“AI has surpassed human imagination,” he explained, “and will soon revolutionise every aspect of life—mathematics, science, philosophy, medicine, and even the understanding of our consciousness. This immense power, however, can either lead us to extinction or enable us to leapfrog into a harmonious, sustainable future.”
Chopra asserted that the divine feminine archetype holds the key to this future. As the nurturer, intuitive guide, and force of synchronicity, the feminine archetype has the capacity to reimagine leadership, heal collective trauma, and create a shared reality rooted in compassion and unity.
Qualities of future leaders
Outlining the framework for the leaders of tomorrow, Chopra introduced LEADERS, an acronym encapsulating the qualities required to shape a new reality:
L: Look and listen
E: Emotional bonding
A: Awareness
D: Dare to dream a new reality and do it
E: Empowerment
R: Responsibility
S: Synchronicities
“These qualities,” he emphasised, “are inherent in the divine feminine. They can reimagine leadership and steer humanity toward a collective vision of peace, sustainability, and joy.
New reality and deeper connection
Chopra elaborated on the concept of ‘Emergence’, where old paradigms of dominance and fragmentation are replaced with new meanings, relationships, and realities. This new reality, he said, is a projection of collective consciousness shaped by synchronicity—a profound interconnectedness scientists call ‘Entanglement’.
“Harnessing synchronicity is vital,” he explained. “It is the deeper reality from which all experiences emerge. This reality is infinite and incomprehensible but is the foundation of existence. Call it God, the divine, or the source—our connection to it is what gives life meaning.”
Activating the divine feminine
Chopra urged humanity to collectively awaken the divine feminine archetype. Archetypes, he explained, are dormant states of energy, information, and awareness that shape reality when activated.
“The divine feminine archetype,” he said, “embodies nurturing, intuition, and synchronicity. It has the power to restructure space, time, and events, creating a just, joyful, and harmonious world. Without it, humanity risks extinction.”
Citing historical figures like Fatima and Maryam as luminaries of the feminine archetype, Chopra called for a collective intention to empower this energy in today’s world. The feminine archetype can save us from ourselves. It is time to move beyond the narrative of conquest and fragmentation to embrace one of connection and compassion, he said.
A shared dream for humanity
Chopra ended his speech with a vision of unity: “A dream that is dreamt alone is just a dream. A dream that is dreamt together becomes reality.” Let us collectively dream of a world where AI serves humanity, the divine feminine leads, and synchronicity connects us all to a deeper, joyful existence.
Later today, Chopra held a book signing event for his latest release Quantum Body at the venue in Madinat Jumeirah.
